We have been learning behaviors of good readers during whole group and small group reading time. There are many things we need to remember while reading, but one important part is reading fluently. When reading fluently we need to read at a good speed, not too fast and not too slow. We should sound the way we do when we talk to someone. We also should pay close attention to all the punctuation marks while we read. If we are reading fluently we should also use expression and excitement in our voices. These things make us better readers and help us to better understand what it is we have read. Click below to hear our class reading our favorite poem fluently. Enjoy!!
